Shirley Solomon's Burger

Yield: 4 

Ingredients: 1 lb lean ground beef - 2 tbsp ketchup - 1 tbsp mustard - 2 egg whites or 1 egg, lightly beaten - 1/4 cup bread crumbs - 1 tbsp Worchestershire sauce - 1 tsp garlic powder - generous pinch salt and freshly ground black pepper - 4 hamburger buns, toasted 

Directions: Using your hands or a fork, combine all ingredients except buns in a medium-sized bowl, until well blended. Form mixture into four burgers. Barbecue burgers 4 to 5 minutes per side. Split hamburger buns and place burgers inside. Serve with your favorite toppings.
