Cheesy Broccoli Linguine

Yield: 4-6 

Ingredients: 250 grams linguine or spaghetti pasta - 2 packages (250 grams each) Green Giant frozen cut broccoli in cheese sauce - 1 package (175 grams) cooked ham slices, cut in thin strips (eight slices of crisply cooked, crumbled bacon may be substituted for ham.) - 1/4 cup butter or margarine - 1 cup cream or milk - 2 eggs, beaten - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 

Directions: Cook pasta as directed on package; drain. Cook vegetable pouches as directed on package. In large saucepan, combine cooked pasta, ham and butter. With wooden spoon, stir over medium heat until butter melts. Remove from heat; stir in broccoli in cheese sauce. In small bowl, combine cream and eggs; stir into pasta mixture. Return to low heat and stir gently until sauce thickens. Serve immediately, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
